Microsoft Buys Twisted Pixel Game Developer
Video game developer Twisted Pixel, who's created games such as Comic Jumper, Splosion Man and The Gunstringer, has been bought by Microsoft, the creators of Windows 95 and the Xbox 360. So, from this point forward all of Twisted Pixel future content will only be exclusive to the Xbox 360.
Twisted Pixel CEO Michael Wilford said that, "It is really exciting for us to solidify our long-standing relationship with Microsoft Studios. As part of the family of Microsoft Studios we look forward to bringing even bigger and richer experiences to Xbox and Twisted Pixel fans around the world.”
The company joins the likes of Rare, Turn 10, Lionhead and Big Park Studio who are also under the Microsoft flag. I doubt that anything in this deal will change the way Twisted Pixel develops their games, I think they will solidly continue to bring gamers that games they expect from them.
