HITMAN: ABSOLUTION might be getting a Multiplayer Mode
Since the Hitman franchise was launched all we've ever known was it's single-player action. As fun as it is to play this game alone, I always thought is would be so awesome to play this game with and against other players. Now it looks like the next installment of the franchise Hitman: Absolution, IO Interactive will include it.
IO Interactive producer Hakan Abrak had this to say in an interview with Eurogamer,
First of all, I want to say we do have something very, very interesting coming up in Hitman: Absolution on the online side. We're not ready to talk about it right now. Hitman is an assassin who works alone, but you never know in what form or in what way we could give you an online experience.
All he did was drop a big fat hint and continues by saying,
It's unfortunately not something I can talk about right now, but I can say, in the story part, Agent 47 definitely works alone.
So from this statement it sounds like the story will stay that same and be a single player game, which leads me to believe that the the multiplayer component that he won't talk about will be separate from the story campaign, which is still cool! All I know is that if this game actually ends up having a multiplayer, I'm sure it will turn out awesome. What are your thoughts?
