STAR TREK ONLINE Goes Live for Free on January 17th

Cryptic Studios announced that their upcoming Star Trek Online will now be released for free on January 17th 2012. Cryptic explains that the no-cost Silver membership gives you full access to the game but limited community and support features. If you want a Gold membership it will cost you $15 dollars per month and it includes features like in-game chat as well as extra character slots and inventory space, veteran rewards and priority login on the game's servers.
