MODERN WARFARE 3 Gets First DLC in January

For those of you who are hooked into Xbox Live and are Call of Duty Elite subscribers you will be the first to be able to download the first DLC for for Call of Duty: Mordern Warfare 3. The DLC will be released on Xbox Live January 24th 2012. As of right now there's no word on when the DLC will be available to everyone else that doesn't have a COD Elite subscription with Xbox Live.

There's not much information on what this first DLC will contain, but Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling says that they will be releasing more than just maps, which pretty much all that they've given to us in the past. This time around we'll also see Spec Ops missions and some other things.

Elite subscribers will get all playable downloadable content for free along with the other perks that have been announced such as Elite TV access, tournaments with real-life prizes at stake, and additional storage for replay videos.

The image you see above is actually the a screenshot of one of the maps from the new DLC. It comes from Bowling's twitter account

Modern Warfare 3 has been an amazing game to play, and it will be cool to be able to play around in on some new maps.
