Final Fantasy XIII-2 has won back the hearts of many all across the board for it being nothing like its disappointing predecessor. And while it's nothing that breaks the mold of what is usually branded with the Final Fantasy moniker, it does bring back some of the old school flare we love so much. However, with FFXIII's development now in the next-gen world comes the inclusion of paid DLC to make that fun last even longer beyond what you paid for.
The first announced bit of downloadable content for the game was done back in late December when Square revealed that both Serah and Noel, the game's protagonists, would be getting their own set of alternate costumes; namely Serah, who's getting herself an outfit described as “extremely showy but cute.”

But more recently, like as in yesterday, news broke by means of the latest Famistu magazine (and Siliconera) that beyond the costumes, FFXIII-2 would also play host to a whole new story chapter focused on the lovable and paternal, Sazh (or Richard Prior look-alike contest winner).
Both DLC packs are due for release on February 28th, and will be priced accordingly:
- Alternate costumes: ¥300 yen, or $4 US dollars on PSN, or 240 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.
- Sazh episode, "Heads or Tails": ¥600 yen, or $8 US dollars on PSN, or 400 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.
