RAYMAN ORIGINS Financially Successful and Profitable for Ubisoft

Happy day! For a minute there I thought Rayman was going to lost to the Raving Rabbids. Thank, God! But if you haven't heard, Rayman Origins, y'know that same game that came out of nowhere and really stole the show with its fast-paced platforming and difficulty, has been publicly dubbed profitable for the publisher.

No specific details were given during a recent investor's meeting by Ubisoft's CFO Alain Martinez. But he did share a few positive words that'll make any fan of Rayman jump for joy,

"We believe Rayman: Origins, which is rated 89 percent on Metacritic with enthusiast reviews and is already profitable, has the capacity to become a long-term seller for the company."

It may be a short quote but hearing the words 'Rayman' and 'long-term seller' just makes my heart skip a bit. It also makes a sequel that much more likely. And for someone as iconic as the limbless protagonist, it's about time he's taken control of his own franchise name, rather than those pesky Rabbids!
