New POKéMON + NOBUNAGA'S AMBITION Trailer Showcases War with Cutesy Pokemon

How do you best pay your respects to the fallen soldiers of an ancient time that first unified your country back in the late 16th century? By filling up the historybooks with cutesy Pokemon that's how!

The latest Pokemon offering by Nintendo and Tecmo Koei's efforts may seem a little foreigner to anyone outside of the Japanese world, but it's a cross over between the highly popular Nobunaga's Ambition series and the forever-loved Pokemon games.

It's a strategy RPG that uses Pokemon instead of soldiers and really outdoes pretty much anything ever made.

Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition is due out in Japan on March 17th for Nintendo DS.

Do you think it's alright to rewrite history, so to speak, and "Pokemon-ize" one of Japan's most historical periods?
