THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM Official iOS App Is Here!
That's right gamers, you can now rejoice. Bethesda has released their official iOS app to help you with your quests and avoid taking an arrow to the knee.
The new app is available for iPhone, iPad, and the iPod Touch. On top of all that, it's free (well at least for the most part). Basically the new app will give you on the fly access to entire world that is Skyrim. Zoom in and out of map locations, and navigate around as you venture out into the world on your quests.
There are a bunch of add-ons for the app, that are running for $.99 each. Ranging from locations of shrines to gems you can find.
Here is the official description for the app:

This interactive map is made by the original team of the well-received Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Prima Official Game Guide.

Lately it seems a lot of games have been releasing companion apps with their products. Most notably, Call of Duty Elite. Even though it took them a little bit of time after the official release of Elite, the app was released and for the most part mirrors what the website component does. Another example that is very similar to this Skyrim app is the Batman Arkham City Official Map App. It lists locations of all the things you can find in the city.
Have you downloaded this app yet? Are there any other games that you wish had a companion app?
