For all of you gamers who did NOT pick up Call of Duty Elite, the DLC is coming your way very soon. Activision has announced that a new DLC pack will hit XBox Live on March 20th.
It will contain all 4 of the maps that were released to Elite Members first: Liberation, Piazza, Overwatch and Black Box (pictured above).
You may be reading that twice like, "Black Box? What is this Black Box map you speak of?" Well it seems that's the next content drop in the Elite series. Black Box will have you fighting around a crashed Air Force One as you take on enemy forces. Very similar to the campaign scenes involving that, but this time in daylight.
Also, they will release two Special Ops maps called Black Ice & Negotiator. Black Ice will have players on snowmobiles trying to plant explosives in mine. While Negotiator will have you fighting in India trying to free hostages.
All of this NEW content (Black Box + Special Ops Maps) will be available to Elite members on March 13th. Keep in mind, all the dates mentioned so far are only for XBox, as no PS3 or PC dates have been announced as of yet.
So there you have it, some new stuff for Elite + big grab bag of stuff for Non-Elite. What do you think, was Call of Duty Elite worth your money if you bought?
