Promo Art Leaks ASSASSIN'S CREED 3 American Revolution Setting

Tired of Ezio? Heck, I am! Even though he's a pretty bad dude and has a sexy accent that even I get caught in, I think we've all grown pretty tired of him -- what with him getting three entire AC games dedicated to him and all. Well, say goodbye to the signore Auditore since Assassin's Creed 3 will host a new hero, and from the looks of it seems to be set during the American Revolution.

A leaked promotional image of artwork for Assassin's Creed 3 sent to Kotaku from a Best Buy employee has surfaced online. One glance at the image goes to show that a picture is definitely worth a thousand words. The full image can be seen below:

For all you history buffs, the flag shown in the background is the "Betsy Ross version" of the US flag first seen in the late 1700's. But what is of particular note is the tomohawk in one hand and the quiver, bow, and arrows seen on his back.

Also snagged from Kotaku:

Woah, so is George Washington on the side of the Assassins or the Templars?

Will our next Animus target be of Native American origin? And what do you think about the new change in scenery and time period?

Assassin's Creed 3 is due out for release on October 30th.
