MASS EFFECT 3 - Gamers Go to the FTC About Game Ending
Ok everyone, this is starting to get a little crazy now. BioWare is continually getting a lot of bashing because of the ending of its hit game, Mass Effect 3. It wasn't enough that gamers raised over $50,000 to petition for Bioware to change the ending. So now they have gone to the FTC claiming that BioWare lied to them.
A forum member on BioWare's site, "El Spiko," has claimed that the game publisher did not deliver on what it sold to the public prior to the game's release.
He goes on to say:
"After reading through the list of promises about the ending of the game they made in their advertising campaign and PR interviews, it was clear that the product we got did not live up to any of those claims."
On top of that, he has also filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau.
Well BioWare has already said that they are listening to their fan's complaints about the game, and will be addressing them soon. But seriously everyone, this is just taking it to a level that it doesn't need to go to. There have been many games, movies, and even TV shows that we all thought did not live up to the hype. But yet this level of outcry was never made.
Do you think this issue is starting to get a little out of hand now?
