Reports are coming in that through Twitter, Nintendo Magazine France (not a publication directly affliated with Nintendo) had tweeted information about a 3DS game coming alongside the proposed Disney sequel, Epic Mickey 2: Power of Illusion.
The tweet reads in French this way:
“La présentation d’Epic Mickey 2 aura lieu la semaine prochaine. Une version 3DS, Power of Illusion, plus “classique” en 2D est aussi prévue.”
Translated via Google gets you this result:
“The presentation of Epic Mickey 2 will take place next week. 3DS version, Power of Illusion, more “classic” 2D is also planned.”
How one interperts this could potentially give evidence of the existence of an original Epic Mickey game hitting the 3DS, or it could simply mean that another unrelated title will also be announced with the unveiling of Epic Mickey 2: Power of Illusion. Again, why someone fluent in French hasn't clarified this is unknown to me.
And also to remind everyone, this is not coming from an official source so it could just be a means to get views and stir the pot, seeing as the French publication has less than 200 followers on its Twitter account.
