Zynga Updates DRAW SOMETHING With Social Features

If you're a fan of cheap $.99 cent games on iOS and Android then there's no way you've passed up Draw Something by OMGPOP (now owned by Zynga who bought them and the game for a call $180 million). Draw Something has only been out for something like 2 months now but it's already gained ground in the same way Angry Birds once did. Since being acquired by the Farmville veteran, there's been talks about just what direction the Pictionary-like mobile game would go.

Well, now we know...

As of yesterday, a new update was pushed to owners of the app adding a couple of much needed features, such as comments, an undo button, the ability to save drawings, and even share drawings to Twitter and Facebook. But those might be all the changes or additions we see coming to the popular game, which gets something around 12 million active users a day.

Former CEO of OMGPOP and now employee of Zynga, Dan Porter, spoke to the Guardian on the subject of changing up new gameplay elements in future updates:

“You might get to level 10 where you only have 60 seconds to guess, and at level 10 plus X you might have another thing that makes it harder, and your goal is to get with your partner to level 25 or something.”

Are you a Draw Something player?
