Those angry birds and crazy pigs are set to invade your television screens later this year! Rovio has announced that the popular mobile game, Angry Birds, will soon launch a cartoon series this fall.
Rovio is definitely riding on this constant wave of popularity currently. Especially since Angry Birds Space is doing so well and make a lot of money for the company. Seriously people, how many game developers can say that their product was backed and promoted by NASA?!
The company has said that they have already created 52 episodes already, and that each episode will last about three minutes. Also add in the fact that there has been an Angry Birds movie in the works for some time now, these little guys are not leaving our lives anytime soon.
No word on how this cartoon series will be made available as of this time. It could just be on the internet, or used as little cartoon shorts in-between programs on Cartoon Network or Disney XD.
As soon as we know more, we shall report to you. In the meantime, go flick some birds. No, not that one on your hand, the birds in the game silly!
