Nintendo 3DS Getting Firmware Update, Folders, Mario Kart 7 patch - April 25th

If your 3D handheld is anything like mine then you're bound to have a ton of icons all over the home screen, organized in the best way possible by putting titles and apps related to each other in near vicinity together; what with all the Ambassador program NES and GBA titles released, as well as a whole mess of 3D trailers for movies and upcoming games, it's hard to keep it clean.

So what way to finally get your home screen in order then by Nintendo adopting Apple's folders feature seen on iOS. That's pretty much exactly what will be going down on April 25th when Nintendo will be uploading a new firmware update to 3DS owners, which interestingly enough, will not only bring in this "folders" feature but also will be patching a fix for owners of Mario Kart 7. Which if you're unaware of, has something known as the Maka Wuhu glitch which players can use to automatically win a race on that map if executed.

Players who don't download the update and try to get on online to play Mario Kart 7 competitively will not be allowed to play online.

Is your Nintendo 3DS getting loaded up with eShop games, trailers, or Ambassador titles?
