MIT Student Makes Real Life MARIO KART

Now I know what you are thinking, "Haven't we seen this real life Mario Kart thing before?" Yes, you have seen that, but those were just for jokes. Plus for the most part, those other videos were using full sized go karts.

What we have here is different. MIT Grad Student, Charles Guan, has taken one of our most beloved games to the next level and brought it to reality. The "Chibikart" as he calls it, has a 30 inch long frame and can hit speeds up to 26 MPH.

Take a look at how big the guys are in comparison to the kart itself. Almost like the game right? Just think of how big Donkey Kong was in that kart, and you will get what I mean.

This is something I sure would have loved when I was in college. Just think, rollin' around on one of these things between classes would be awesome. On top of that, the kart even has four-wheel drive. How cool is that?

You can get a more detailed look at everything it took to make this kart (most of which is WAY over my head) over at his website

What other video games do you wish would become a reality?
