Ronimo Games and DTP Entertainment AG have released the much hyped Awesomenauts today on XBLA and PSN.
Who exactly are the Awesomenauts you ask? They are an elite mercenary group that is out to save the universe from huge robot armies hell-bent on taking over. The game takes place in the year 3587, and will give you the ability to play with friends or go at it alone. You can also upgrade your Awesomenaut, and definitely expect for new items to be released on a regular basis.
The game almost takes me back to old school cartoons in the '80s, and that's not a bad thing at all. The fact that I can team up with three other people is an added plus.
