SUPER MARIO BROS. Characters Realistically Made in a Noir Style

Yes, I know. Noir would mean that the pictures would be in black and white, but the creator of these photos was commenting on the detective element of Noir and not the strict definition of the word. Think of it as L.A. Noire (the word can be spelled as Noir or Noire), where the themes are still present from the "Noir" style even if the color scheme is not black and white.

Anyway, Anthony Jones decided to add the Noir style to the Super Mario world and came out with some realistic looking characters. Mario looks like a fat Daniel Day Lewis, Luigi like Jude Law, and Wario is the Kingpin. It sure is strange looking, but pretty awesome.

What would Mario do in a Noir world?
