Recently I ran across this great video via Twitter, and I just knew I had to post it here. YouTube'r, Kevolin07, has put together a quite impressive video of him playing the iconic Battlefield theme music using his violin.
As you can see, he records certain parts of the theme music separately, then synchs it all together. He says that although it's not perfect, he is basing this rendition off of the Battlefield 2 theme music.
Someone on Twitter said that this guy should get a Grammy. I don't know about all that, but he is very talented, and some developers should use him when they are creating their musical scores. Something about the Battlefield music just gets me amped up, like in an epic feeling sort of way.
