Video Game Evolution Shown by Controllers in This Infograph

This infograph traces the roots of our current systems to their humble and basic beginnings. It's pretty interesting to see where controllers have ended up and which models they were influenced by. I don't care about peripherals in gaming, but I think it is pretty great how the artist traced the linage of peripheral devices. I don't know how many more iterations there can be of the Xbox and Playstation controllers, then again, I never thought games would ever look as beautiful as they do now.
