Amnesia: The Dark Descent is a cult classic already, it seems, for PC gamers. It is a surreal horror/adventure game that plays with the perspective when you are in the dark for too long or if something terrifying is happening on screen. I have not played the first game but I have been meaning to for quite some time. Now with the second installment on its way, maybe I should really get around to doing that.
Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs is being developed by Frictional Games, again, but they are also teaming up with thechineseroom for support. THQ is not publishing this second title (probably because THQ is hurting, financially) but Frictional Games is doing it themselves.
Did the first Amnesia frighten you just a little too much?
