The MARIO BROS. Murder Shy Guys With Turnips in This Fan Art

So, I don't know if it more disturbing that this artwork hinges on a realistic depiction of murder in a video game universe that is not, well, murder filled, or that one could kill something (someone) with a turnip. Last week I witnessed The Human Centipede in the Mushroom kingdom, but this is somehow stranger to me. Maybe the blood on the turnips is what's bothering me...
