The NINTENDO POWER GLOVE Gets Some Superhero Enhancements

The Nintendo Power Glove was one of those accessories that would definitely be deemed as a game changer of sorts. Although it didn't take off, it was something that Nintendo was very proud of back in the day. Pair that up with the Power Pad or Advantage Joystick, it was without a doubt evident that the company was king of the hill back in the day.

Things have definitely changed since those days. But that doesn't mean we can't re-imagine one of our favorite gaming accessories being used in another way.

The very talented artist, Josh Lane, has come up with these superhero adaptations of the NES Power Glove. Complete with Wolverine and Spider-Man versions. You can get your own prints of this fantastic retro artwork over at the society6 website ranging from around $15-$17.

Funny thing is, I saw a guy walking around E3 in a full suit with a Power Glove on his arm. As much as I was laughing on the inside at him, I kind of wanted to rock a Power Glove as well.

Do you think any gaming company will make another accessory like this?
