Photographer Imagines Where All the Game Bits Come From

There is nothing more interesting to me than looking at video games from a different angle. We take everything we see on the T.V./monitor for granted and never think past it. Self-awareness is easier to find in movies, but video games, for as silly as they can be, never address the ridiculousness they have. Saints Row: The Third was probably the latest game to make fun of the tropes in gaming, but you won't see something like that made all the time. I am sure I am skipping over Indie games that present self-awareness in a better fashion, but, eh, I can't play everything.

Photographer Marc Da Cunha has created factory-like areas that show where certain game bits are made. You see Sonic's rings, mushrooms for Mario, and Arkanoid's bricks. I'm not sure what trickery he used to make everything look the way it does, but it sure is impressive.

What game bits would you like to see be made?
