TOMB RAIDER - Lara Has Zero Luck in This Trailer

Here is the first, proper trailer for the new Tomb Raider, which is set to come out early next year. Instead of the typical Tomb Raider in which protagonist, Lara Croft starts at the family's mansion and then goes all Indiana Jones looking for treasure, this game sets her on an island, fighting for her life. Survival elements looks as if they will play a large role in order to keep Lara alive.

It has an Uncharted look to me (the climbing sequences echo that), but developer, Crystal Dynamics is taking the Uncharted formula down a darker path. Instead of cheeky dialog accompanying lovable characters, this game looks to have satanic rituals and situations push Lara to her limits. I am really digging this trailer, and I don't think I have ever been excited for a Tomb Raider game. So, that must mean something, right?
