MARIO Prepares to Battle MORTAL KOMBAT Characters

Mario looks more like a cornered dog in this picture than he does a savior of the Mushroom Kingdom. You would think he would not look as scared as he does but with the approaching MK characters, he looks as is he is already giving up.

Maybe he is about to be recruited for the actual Mortal Kombat championship and Johnny Cage and friends are here to bring him to the arena. I doubt he would last long, though. Mario gets hurt from just running into a little, angry looking Mushroom.

What do you think would happen to Mario in the Mortal Kombat universe or vice versa?
