MARVEL Set to Announce New Super Hero Game with ACTIVISION at Comic-Con
Most can agree that Marvel has not been successful in the video games department. They know this as well, and was one of the primary reasons they ended their relationship with Sega earlier this year.
Now they are on course to redeem their image in the gaming world, and will team with Activision and High Moon Studios on their next game. This new super hero game will be revealed at this Comic-Con this week. No details have been given at this time, so it could be anyone in the Marvel universe.
Could this be another Iron Man game? The previous Iron Man games made by Sega were total fails, but being that Iron Man 3 is on the horizon, it could possibly be a good tie-in.
What about an Avengers game? With the success of the movie, this would be a no brainer. You can also throw in the fact that High Moon Studios is knowledgeable about putting a bunch of different characters together in a game, and actually have it turn out good. Just like they will with the upcoming Transformers: Fall of Cybertron game.
One character who we definitely know it will not be is Spider-Man. Beenox has been the primary Spidey game maker of the last few years. With the release of The Amazing Spider-Man video game that ties to the recent movie, I doubt another Spidey game would happen as of now.
We will all have to wait until Saturday, July 14, when Activision/Marvel has their panel to find out the news.
What Marvel character do you think will be the star of the next Activision game?
