Video Games as Comic Books - Classic Gaming Characters Pay Homage to Old School Comics

Video game and comic books are more closely tied together than most may realize. Just think about it, both of these mediums allow us to escape to a different world for a little bit of time. Forget those stress related things in your everyday life, and you can imagine the lives of these characters. 

Rusty Shackles (great name by the way), is a great artist that has taken some of our favorite video game characters and re-imagined them as the first issues of many of our favorite comic book characters.

Honestly, I could see many of these comics actually working. So DC and Marvel better get on this, and produce more video game crossovers.
