PLAYSTATION Network Gets Hacked by Anonymous, Again!
If you have a PlayStation, you may want to head over to their website or log into your console and change your password immediately.
It seems that the hacker group, Anonymous, has once again broken into Sony's accounts and claims to have over 50 gigabytes worth of email accounts and passwords. The representative of the group says that at least TEN MILLION accounts are at risk.
Now, for all we know this could be a complete hoax. But being that the group already hacked into the gaming network in April of last year, anything can be possible.
If you are work right now or cant get home, go to http://www.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com in order to sign into your account and edit your password.
When will this ever end?
This just in from Kotaku, it seems that the list that Anonymous is in possession of is copy of a Pastebin posting that has user's emails along with encrypted passwords from March of this year.
Still awaiting word from Sony, but either way it's still a good idea to change your password. Shane Bettenhausen, a business development team member posted earlier that the hack was a hoax. But now that tweet seems to be removed. So perhaps there is still some truth to this matter?
