CALL OF DUTY Fan Made Movie Poster Makes Us Think, Could This Actually Happen?

If there was ever a movie that could be based off a video game right now, it would be the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise. The COD games have been such a money maker for Activision, Infinity Ward and Treyarch, so it's very surprising that something like this is not in the works already. 

NeverDying over at DeviantArt has come up with poster that would work perfectly for a Call of Duty movie. It features the classic quote made by Vladimir Makarov in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Revenge is like a ghost. It takes over every man it touches. Its thirst cannot be quenched until the last man standing has fallen.

Even though the campaigns in the Call of Duty games have been a little on the short side in terms of duration, I think the story itself could hold up in movie.

I'm actually quite surprised that Activision hasn't followed the Microsoft route with Halo, in releasing live action mini-movies to tie into the game. Perhaps they will one day. (Yes, I know they made a live action trailer with Jonah Hill and Sam Worthington, but let's try to forget about that.)
